Material Construction
Material Construction of Rubber Dispersion Kneader
The Rubber Dispersion Kneader ensures homogeneous compound dispersion, easy colour change cleaning and simple operation — a true techno-economic achievement. It combines a wide range of materials, from low viscosity adhesives to high viscosity rubber. The complete Dispersion Kneader line is built with a cooling jacket, which promotes mixing dispersion and prevents material burning.
Mixing Chamber
Fabricated alloy steel, hard faced, jacketed (both longitudinal and transverse) for steam heating and water cooling, and tilts for easy discharge and cleaning.
Mixing Rotors
Spirally annular design, made of alloy cast steel, with node tips that are internally cored for good temperature regulation. The nodes' land is hard faced and profiled.
Pressure Lid
Jacketed for effective heating / cooling, steel fabricated and hard faced at the mix contact area. Pneumatic and hydraulic variants available.
Dust Seal
Designed specifically to maintain a clean working environment, and easily replaceable when worn.

What is the function of a Dispersion Kneader?
A dispersion kneader is used to uniformly mix rubber or
plastic compounds by kneading them under controlled
temperature and pressure. It disperses chemicals, fillers,
oils and pigments evenly through the compound to produce a
homogeneous, consistent batch.
How do I decide the right capacity?
Capacity depends on your batch weight, compound density and
daily production target. As a guide, 5–25 L models suit
laboratories and small batches, 35–75 L models suit
medium-scale production, and 100–300 L models are built for
heavy-duty, high-volume plants. Share your batch size and
our team will recommend the ideal model.
Is it suitable for both natural and synthetic rubber?
Yes. Our dispersion kneaders handle natural rubber, SBR,
NBR, EPDM, butyl, silicone, PVC compounds and many other
polymers — as well as low-viscosity adhesives and
high-viscosity rubber compounds. Rotor and temperature
settings can be tuned to suit your specific material.
How do I maintain the machine for long life?
Regular lubrication of the gearbox and bearings, periodic
inspection of the dust seal, keeping the cooling jacket
clean, and prompt replacement of worn rotor tips will keep
your kneader running for years. We supply a
machine-specific maintenance schedule with every unit, plus
genuine spares and on-call technical support.
Can I integrate automation in the kneader?
Absolutely. We offer manual and PLC-based control systems
with options for automated temperature control, timed mixing
cycles, recipe storage, data logging and discharge
sequencing. Automation can be specified at the time of order
or retrofitted to many existing models.
